Pennsylvania Ag Discovery Center Capital Campaign
This $27 million capital campaign will help us break ground in Gettysburg, Pa., creating a hub for agriculture education, tourism, and community connection. By partnering with businesses, foundations, and organizations like yours, we’ll create opportunities to create connections, foster appreciation, and inspire a future workforce for Pennsylvania’s industry: agriculture.
The PA Ag Discovery Center will be located in Adams County, in Gettysburg, adjacent to the Outlets Shoppes at Gettysburg. The Ag Discovery Center will leverage existing visitor traffic to attractions like the Gettysburg National Military Park and proximity to major metropolitan areas. We expect to welcome 150,000 visitors annually, offering year-round programming for diverse audiences.
Agriculture is the backbone of America.
It is the number one industry outside of tourism in the state and contributes more than $135B annually to the state's economy. More than 580,000 people in Pennsylvania work in the agriculture industry. The Ag Discovery Center will showcase Pennsylvania's unique agricultural industry, from dairy and crops, to urban farming, horticulture, and more.
The 25,00 sq. ft. facility will highlight the diversity and importance of agriculture throughout the state. It will be a destination location to connect consumers to where their food and products come from and to inspire a future workforce to connect with the career opportunities that exist within the agriculture industry.
The PA Ag Discovery Center will include interactive exhibits exhibits such as:

- Showcase for Careers in Agriculture
